Our goal is Equal Access 1:1
Equitable Access is afforded to all students regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic status or disability. As with curriculum our goal is to provide each student an equal opportunity to learn and become proficient on technology devices. This includes such items as laptops, iPads, desktop computers and Smart Boards. Our goal today as it will be tomorrow is being able to dispense a laptop to each student to take home. Each child can purchase a laptop at the beginning of the school year for a discounted rate. However, we are applying for a grant to cover these costs. As with any funding we are unsure when the funds will arrive. To ensure everyone has open access while awaiting the grant, each classroom will be provided with 5 laptops for use during and after school hours. If you need access to a laptop and your classroom checkouts are full you may obtain one from the Library and Media center if available.
