Internet Safety
- Review Security Settings and Privacy Policies for each website you or your child visits
- Protect all Internet enabled devices
- Keep personal information private
- Do not use the same password on multiple websites
- Enter web addresses and not by clicking links
- Update software and apps
- Lock your device when not in use and never leave unattended
- Beware of phishing and scams
- Educate yourself and children about online predators and suspicious activity
- Only contact to secure Wi-Fi
Electronic Mail and Internet Policy
POLICY IS AVAILABLE IN THE HANDBOOK I,_________________ will adhere to the following rules when it goes to my electronic mail (email) account and using the school's internet regardless of what device it is accessed on. If I fail to comply with the rules I will no longer be able to use on school property. 1. Email accounts are for student use only. 2. I will not email anyone outside of the school domain. 3. I will not receive email from anyone outside of the school domain. 4. No email of malicious intent. 5. No harassing email. 6. No email to include test answers or encourage cheating. 7. No sending email during class instruction or events. 8. Do not give your password to anyone. 9. Do not use another persons account. 10. Email is monitored and filtered by the District. - Do not click on questionable links
- Filter Spam
- Do not open email attachments if you do not know the sender
- Never give your password away
